    Ok well my ‘safe’ chocolate has arrived and guess what? It actually tastes ok! Us in the UK much prefer our dairy chocolate but this is dark so will take a bit of getting used to but it’s certainly nice enough to eat! Definitely has a chocolately taste. Just what I’ve been looking for!

    Hello, Lily.

    The carob sounds great I suppose, especially if someone really loves their chocolate. Fortunately I can and have lived without chocolate both before and since going on the Candida diet. I looked up the information on carob, and found that it has 12 net carbs for every 1/4 cup of the powder. For my personal diet, this would be too high a carb content for one item I’m afraid.
    But good luck, I sincerely hope it works for you.
