I know that Hummus is not on allowed list – was wondering why? Also, it was mentioned that dry beans were ok. Which dry beans specifically and how do you cook them?? Thanks

I believe they are to be saved for phase 2 because of low amounts of starch/sugar. If you were to eat hummus once every 3 days or so, it could pose less problems.

I think it applies to all beans. I would save for phase 2 and wouldn’t worry about it yet…it could set you back like brown/white rice.
