My 5 year old has been prescribed 100mg of caprylic acid but the tablet is enormous, and even broken up he can’t get it down. So we tried crushing it and mixing it with his apple sauce, but it tastes absolutely VILE and he won’t take it (can’t blame him – I tried it)….
While he doesn’t love plain coconut oil, he will simply drink it by the teaspoon, so we’d like to try that as an alternative. Does anyone know how much coconut oil would be equivalent to about 100mg of caprylic acid? OR…if nobody knows that, could you please suggest a suitable amount of coconut oil for a 5 year old suffering from candida?
Thank you! Wee Hen
