I plan to keep the thermostat at 75 and to keep the grains only, in a glass jar, wrapped with a coffee filter and rubber band on top. There’s no need to rinse the grains, and you might even find that they’ve multiplied! They lasted well, and multiplied. If you leave them for much longer than 8 days (or if you don’t leave them with enough food), they might start to starve.Author Posts Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total)The topic ‘How do I store Kefir grains while away from home?’ is closed to new replies.
