    Before the diet i used to eat alot of butter beans, cannellini beans and mung beans so i’m looking forward to be able to eat these again. Are there any in particular that I should test first?

    Since the carbs in dried beans are all complex carbohydrates, it shouldn’t matter much which ones you choose; but below is a chart of the carb count per 1/2 cup serving of the beans listed.

    Mung beans – 7g
    Lima beans – 12g
    Refried beans – 12g
    Winged beans – 12g
    Pinto beans – 14.5g
    Hyacinth beans – 19.5g
    Fava beans – 21g
    Chickpeas / garbanzo beans – 21.5g
    Lentil beans – 22g
    White beans – 23g
    Navy beans – 24g
    Kidney beans – 28g
