No unfortunately you need virgin coconut oil
P.S. There is no difference between virgin and extra virgin the latter being a marketing word.
Here is a great cheap source of VCO http://www.amazon.com/Vitacost-Virgin-Certified-Organic-Coconut/dp/B0044MTGHI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331695250&sr=8-1March 14, 2012 at 7:16 am #75798

Can someone clarify for me why we need virgin coconut oil vs. just coconut oil? What’s the difference between the two? Will just coconut oil work as well?
Thanks in advance for clarifications!
