Is goat cheese OK? I know its not on the strict list but will it still feed the yeast?

If it’s not on the diet then it does have some kind of risk associated with it. I think with cheeses it may not be the sugar or lactose, but mold that presents the risk.

I haven’t even cheese for 15 months, and yet I crave it to the point where I’d chop off my thumb to eat it – both goats and cheddar. I can’t even remember the taste but I know my candida would gorge themselves if I did. I think it’s the yeast factor because I have no cravings for sweets, grains, etc. at all!

Yeah i agree, cheese is absolutely amazing.

But yeah you want to steer clear of all cheese for a while. Besides the lactose it may have yeast and mold.
