Hello – I am looking to add FOS to my probiotic regime after the cleanse, and I wondered whether anyone had any advice on which to buy? I’ve come across ‘generic’ FOS and inulin FOS.

    Thanks –

There’s a product called “miracle fiber” in the US thats pretty popular and is a good source of FOS. There’s a few other fiber products that contain it as well; I’d have to do some research to find some others.

I recommend garlic, onions and asparagus in whatever amounts don’t cause bloating.

Thanks, Both. I’ll add asparagus today, I think. Supplements are always tricky in England: the US seems so much more advanced!

    Cheers,

    Hi Imm,

It’s easier and cheaper to just order your supps direct from the US.

The 2 sites i use are iherb.com and healthdesigns.com using international airmail, which will 9 times out of 10 avoid customs fee’s.

I’ve only ever used inulin FOS(still do), and for me it works extremely well. I sprinkle around 2.5 grams on each of my 3 meals and within 24 hours i went from having diarrhoea for almost 3 years to a cute looking log of perfect consistency, colour and shape. After around 2 months of continuous use the affects have reduced a little but still much better than before i began using it, but this is just a bandage around my symptoms while i put my full anti-candida plan together.

THis is the one i use.

    Hope this helps 🙂

You may want to consider using Yucca Root as your main prebiotic. It contains many benefits which neither FOS nor inulin contain.
