I work out 3 times a week where I run 30 min. and do 1 hour of weightlifting. And then I need some food! But I can’t always eat supper right after. So what do you do?
I’m gonna be on stage 1 (again) with greens, fish and eggs next week and the week after.
I will eat 2 eggs and greens like green beans and spinach for breakfast, salats for lunch and cale and other heavy veggies for supper (with fish 2 times a week). So what can I eat between meals/after a workout? Some good ideas?
Thank you! – NadjaApril 8, 2012 at 12:28 pm #78297

a couple things I would suggest:
– don’t train for 1 hour 30min. The reason why, is after an hour your stress hormone (cortisol) raises too high, working against what most people want to achieve (good body composition).
– either split your strength & cardio sessions up, or do your strength training 1st, then finish off with a shorter interval session (which will reap more rewards than steady state cardio & make you sweat more – which means more toxins coming out)
you could take BCAA during & post workout & then have some real food with you, or any of the suggestions in the protein shake thread (although I’m not an expert on whats right to take on candida diet): http://www.thecandidadiet.com/forum/yaf_postst3135_Protein-Shakes.aspx
