Hello,I wanted to discuss fish and Candida. Now,I was talking with a fellow yogini today (female yogi) who is well versed and has a lot of experience in holistic diet, healing and nutrition.I was telling her about Candida for a while, and over the course of an hour she said, towards the end, that she could feel unbalanced my body was,how much protein I needed that I wasn’t getting, and how exhausted I was.She was saying something about how I am probably having a hard time converting all the carbohydrates in all the beans and sprouted grains in my protein powders…and then she said I should eat fish or meat,if I possibly can! I let that settle, thought it over more, and by the time I left,I walked to a nearby organic store and bought two wild frozen salmon patties.I walked with them home and felt the fishes’ energy ( I know that sounds odd,but I am so in tune that I can do that!) and cooked them at home with extra virgin olive oil, chives, garlic, basil.dill, fennel, pepper, topped them with fresh kale and Himlayan pink salt..it was DELICIOUS and I felt absolutely fantastic afterwards! I haven’t felt that great in a L O N G time! I had so much energy, felt so many much needed proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins coursing through me.I didn’t have any brain fog or exhaustion or gas or bloating like I’ve had with beans every day for a while. In fact,I felt so great I walked back into town and bought more salmon and a bamboo steamer to cook with !
My friend also mentioned the Paleo Diet so I researched that.Needless to say, staying way far away from fruits, nuts, seeds, and meat.I haven’t had meat in 15 years and my digestion tells me I wouldn’t be able to successfully get it down.
Anyway, anyone who has had a similar experience,or has any tips, please feel free to share!
I feel really great and haha,I’m not a vegan anymore, but I know what my body was asking for and I am glad I was smart enough to listen to it.Bad bad beans! I haven’t laughed or smiled this much in…well two weeks!
    Namaste,

My naturopath recommends eating meat to any vegetarians and/or vegan people because of this reason…I am glad you tried it out and had a good experience.

I actually recently ate some fish for the first time in years and actually liked it. It was at a fancy french restaurant at the coast for a special occasion; I had to cheat it up!

    Would you rather choose from:
    -Quail
    -Duck
    -Beef
    -Salmon
    -veggie pasta

I chose the salmon even though I don’t like seafood lol.

I have a Bioquantum Feedback specialist coming out to see me next month, she asked me what my blood type (not sure) and told me to eat meat. There’s no way I could digest meat,I had no problem with the fish..but also for ethical issues (I say this as I eat fish ha ha ha ).Fish is enough for me I feel.My body can’t wait for lunch! It’s like, when am I going to have that yummy filet again!? hahaha.I haven’t had this much energy and alertness is SO long!
I would choose salmon.Seafood…ugh, except for salmon! The few times I’ve had shrimp or other seafood,so gross.Yet salmon is so healthy, full of protein, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, there are so many studies done where moods are heightened, joint and bone issues repaired..it really is a miracle fish.I love you salmon! LOL ! So funny as I was such a strict vegan for two years….hehehehheehhehehehe.
