My lifestyle is so active that it took me about 1 year and a half to fully commit to the diet. Right before I started the real candida diet my hands were so dry that I couldn’t wash them without my finger tips becoming prunes, my tongue was so dehydrated that the 2 liters of reverse osmosis water didn’t help at all. As far as my genitals, barely any moisture at all of course and painful intercourse. Dry nose, ears dry everything basically. This dryness would alternate with occasional secretions of mucus (white in the vagina)and extreme tearing of the eye. 4 months ago I started the full on diet, HMF probiotics by genestra, oil of oregano alternated with GSE, Chlorella and candex (I’ve been on candex for 1 year)amongst others. I did a series of enemas as I read it would help and I was feeling much better in month 2. Now in month 4 the dryness is back and worse, lips, tongue, my eyeballs hurt because my eyes are so dry, my hands are so dry that it hurts when I touch rough fabrics.. I supposed the healing process makes things come and go? I stuck to the diet with having an occasional cup of coffee. I’m starting to think that this diet and the enemas is too extreme for my body, I’m 28 and I thought I would be able to recover quickly, I just want to know if anyone knows about this dryness, thank you so much for listening to my complaints.May 22, 2012 at 1:38 pm #82679

I wanted to say that the reason that you likely have skin dryness and physical dryness is because one of your organs is likely damaged. In eastern medicine there is your fire and your water…and you need to heal your water. A naturopath can determine a great way to heal the body, but I want to stress that not everything is caused by candida. I would also alter your treatment if it isn’t working, we have a pretty good one here on the forum:

I haven’t heard of that specific symptom with CRC. Some people report dry skin but no to that extreme. Becareful with the enemas. You can get severe electrolyte unbalance with the enemas.
