    Hey Jorge,

Hope you are well. I have recently started doing enemas 2x a week. First I do a few rounds of clear water with sea salt to clear it all out, and then I do a retention enema with 1-2 capsules of Florastor powder.

My question is: do I need to take anything like a Potassium pill to rebalance? So in other words, am I depleting myself of important minerals with these enemas? I tried enemas for a few months about a year ago and remember I had low potassium.

    What do you think?

Yes, I took potassium to compensate the electrolytes. You are getting sodium from the sea salt.

Maybe you could mix the sea salt with potassium salt. That way, you wouldn’t have to take potassium pills.

Of course this depends on how easy it is in your country to obtain potassium salt. In my country, food-grade potassium salt is available for people with high blood pressure and/or people with kidney problems. The situation may be different in your country.

Do take care with potassium as it may directly impact the functioning of the heart.

Also keep your other electrolytes in check. Sodium and potassium are just two of them, there are many more.
