This plant is an Iranian spiny plant with yellow flowers used in traditional medicine and as a spice and food preservative. A google search reveals that it a number of scientific studies have found it effective in combatting candida. Apparently it is available as both an extract and an essential oil. I live in Australia and have had no success in locating it. Can anyone suggest a way of obtaining this plant in some form?
