    Hello,
I am a 28 year old woman that has been battling some illness since 19.
At the age of 19 I noticed a brown spot on my bottom lip and was naturally concerned. I asked my doctor about it and she told me that it was just hormones and to monitor it and let her know if it got worse. It did as more multiplied and eventually I started developing brown spots inside of my mouth on the inside of cheeks, gums, tongue and my top lip. Since my doctor basically blew me off I asked to be referred to a specialist and was then referred to a dermatologist. They did a freeze treatment on my lips and stated that it would freeze off the black spots and reveal my normal lip color. I was so excited when this worked…………for about 2 weeks. The black spots grew back. I have been to multiple doctors, dentists and dermatologist and they all make me out to be the crazy one. They say that it’s no big deal. Either hormones, or hyper pigmentation. I am sorry but this is not normal. I have been seeking alternative medicine for about 5 years now and no one knows what it could be until now……….I went to an energy reading and the guy tested me and stated that it was a fungus most likely Candida. I performed the spit test close to 8 times and each time that test is negative. However I read that sometimes the test is not accurate.

I know that with Candida you can experience odd skin problems and dry corners of the mouth which I don’t experience too much but have before.

I am so depressed behind this. I cannot even go to grab the morning paper without putting on lip gloss. It’s embarrassing, kills a girls self esteem and a big fun sucker out of my life. I just want to move forward with healing and would like your help. I know that no one can diagnose but I need to find out what this is and how to heal myself from it. I know that with the help of God all things are possible especially healing yourself from disease. I just need to know what it is and how to get rid of it. I am not quite sure how to attach photos but have photos for you to view because it is extremely weird and bizarre. thanks in advance for your time and help.

(sorry for the long post btw oopsies!!)LOL

    Hi,
you can attach pictures I believe if you click on the insert picture button, in the upper message window. Try that. You have to have the picture on your computer and look it up after you pressed the button.

Are they really black the spots? Or are they darker spots like sun spots. These you develop too with age, my wife got more and more with age. I love them they are cute.
But black spots I would have checked up deeper. Are they itchy? Pealing off, irritated or hurting? I haven’t heard that candida is making black spots which will not have one kind of infection of the skin with it.

Lets see what able is saying as he is the real expert here but I have not seen or heard about black spots.

    yours

I would consider consulting a naturopathic doctor. I have had re-occuring ringworm for years and it wont go away despite being on the diet. I am taking skin related homeopathics that will address killing off parasites in my body that are causing the ringworm.

Thanks for your responses. I hit the insert image button and it is not allowing me to attach photos, rather I am not doing it correctly.

The spots on my outer lips started off brown but now they are black. The spots on my outer lips do not itch or cause any pain. However they are very dry and peel and flake a lot. The internal ones that are inside of my mouth feel rough but remain brown. The spots on my tongue are black.

I have been consulting naturopathic doctors. They are pretty baffled at my condition and do not know what to tell me. One recommended flax seed and Beta glucan. She said these will get my immune system up and rid my body of fungi. I will report back to you as it’s on order.

Thanks so much for your responses. I am not giving up and hope to get rid of whatever this is very soon. The first 5-6 years of having it I was discouraged because I only dealt with Western medicine but now that I have learned more about alternative treatments I know it can be achieved. Just have to find out what this is so I can properly supplement.

Raster- What supplements are you taking? Just curious. Thanks again.

I really would look for a skin specialist. If you don’t feel safe, take another one. You have to go to the bottom with it and not only guess.

Rid, what did you insert between the [ img] and [ /img] signs? If it was the address of your photo on your computer, this won’t work. You’ll need an internet address for a photo to show up. You can obtain this by posting your photo on your own website, or on a photo-upload website.

    Hello,
Thanks for responding back to me. I am not able to do that. I am at work. But I will look into this. I figured I was doing something wrong LOL.

Thomas I will definitely keep searching and you are very right. I need to know exactly what is going on in order to successfully treat.
