I’ve read some mixed opinions on whether or not CoQ10 aka Q10 or Coenzyme Q10 is useful and/or safe for Candida.

I’m interested in trying it since some are saying it boosts energy and immune function as well as gives the liver a break.

Is it safe? – I read claims that it can feed candida

Does it work? – anyone notice a difference?

    Thanks!

Coenzyme Q10 is exactly what the name implies, an enzyme. It’s already present in the cells of the body, and most prevalent in the heart and liver. Its purpose in the body is to create energy at the cellular level. Certain research claims that Candida toxins, such as aldehydes, have a tendency to stifle the binding of CoQ10 in the cells. Taking a supplement of Q10 isn’t going to cure your infestation, but it certainly won’t do any harm to take a supplement.

Thanks Able. I am going to try Ubiquinol and see if it helps with energy
