I was making my own pizza dough with rice flour, and was wondering if I should skip using yeast, which is in most recipes. Will cooking yeast make Candida worse? Couldn’t find much in my web searches.

Dvjorge has talked about brewers yeast and another yeast called s.boulardii. These are friendly yeasts. There are unfriendly yeasts that are in things like dairy, kefir, etc. So it depends on the strain, etc. But in general the yeasts used in baking shouldn’t harm you.

Thanks. Any thoughts on whether gluten free sandwich breads are ok? I have heard differing answers.
