So, I’ve been on the Candida diet for two weeks now. Prior to the diet, I was already gluten free and mostly vegan (due to food allergies and complications). I did not eat refined sugar; I ate a good amount of fruit and used coconut sugar or maple syrup if I had dessert.
From what I’ve read in many articles, people start to lose weight pretty fast, but I haven’t lost any…I feel concerned because I see that as a sign of die-off….should I be concerned? Is it because my diet was already fairly altered when I started? Thanks!
It varies person to person. The main thing is that most people transition from a bad western diet to a gluten free diet quickly and they don’t know how much food to eat. For instance, some people might start out and think a salad for lunch is good enough when you really need like 3 courses or more. As long as you eat plenty of food, I wouldn’t worry very much.
