I managed to buy some Coconut Oil today, it’s a small jar of coconut virgin oil raw. I was expecting it to be oil but it’s more like a thick white cream.

Is this the correct oil or have I bought the wrong thing? If its right, do I just spoon it out and eat it like that?

Any help would be most grateful

    Thanks
    Chris

yes thats the stuff, if we get any sort of a summer this year it should turn into liquid. It doesn’t once you heat it.

Does cooking with it lessen it’s antifungal properties? If yes, wouldn’t be cheaper to cook with regular coconut oil and save the Virgin Coconut oil for non-cooking? Just asking….anyone know?
