Hi, I bought some Caprylic Acid (Solgar brand). It is not time-realease (my mistake, it was on sale and I forgot). It contains calcium caprylate, magnesium caprylate, postassium caprylate and zinc caprylate. Other ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose.

I have a headache (probably die-off) so i think maybe it’s working. But a lot of websites said it won’t reach the large intestine due to quick absorption. Should I quit taking it, or has anyone had luck with non-time release? Will probiotics when taken every day, eventually kill the fungus in the large intestine?

    Thank you!

    Mike

It will work like all other antifungals do and kill off the candida. This can cause die-off symptoms. It will be effective for 6-8 weeks and then the candida will adapt to it (like other antifungals) so switch to another one in time. A great one I recommend is SF722 by thorne:
