    Hi is candida albicans mainly found in small bowel or large ? also is leaky gut in small or large bowel thanks

    Fungus can attack any intestinal part. The upper part of the small bowel is less susceptible since body fluids keep that area hostile for microbies.

    The colon is its preferred place since putrefaction, decomposition, and fermentation take place there.

    Anywhere in the intestines where inflammation be present. The intestines should have limited permeability from mouth to anus.
