    How do you differentiate between the two? I am really confused about this. All I know is that I have white stuff along with stool, some thing like this:

    and today I saw something like this, with some blood imbedded. is this mucus or candida?

    Candida Albicans is dimorphic — it has a yeast form and a mycelial (hyphal) form. The yeast form looks like:

    I’m not sure what the mycelial form looks like, except under a microscope. Both forms can be pathogenic. Your pics look more like mucus to me.

    ^ oh ok, yeah your pics look different, it could be mucus all along I guess and not Candida perhaps, but again I need 100% confirmation on this
