Hello, I am concerned about breastfeeding while on the candida diet, because of the toxins released when the candida die. Could these toxins appear in the breast milk? I am on a homeopathic treatment for almost a week and a diet with no sugar, fruits and low amounts of carbohydrates for about 2 weeks. My child is 2.5 years old. Should I worry about? Thank you!
I would be more worried about getting the nutrition that you and your child need. Now is not the time to go on a really low carb diet. Although I’m guessing that your kid is probably eating solids now too, so it’s less of an issue than it would be for a newborn.
I don’t know if die-off toxins can make it through into breast milk. Better safe than sorry!
