I have just started with s boulardii for a few weeks on holiday, then plan to change to bakers yeast, but wanted to know if I could still cook with these?April 28, 2013 at 4:11 pm #103713

I still have the odd food-grade antifungal – especially coconut oil and antifungal teas.
I have noticed I will feel pretty terrible if I were to take my S. Boulardii then. for instance, have a big mug of peppermint tea only half an hour later, but if I leave it a few hours in between I don’t really notice a physical effect. I’m not sure if there is any reaction between the two despite the absence of an effect, however my naturopath seems to think it is fine. Having said that, both my naturopath and I take a more relaxed approach to this than many forum members.
Sorry can’t help you with your other question other than to say my naturopath thinks that S. Boulardii and probiotics should be taken as far apart as possible.April 28, 2013 at 4:46 pm #103718
