So very simple question. I’m currently taking Pau D’Arco Tea with Lemongrass every morning, and 1tbsp of Extra virgin coconut oil as my evening dose of antifungals. I tried adding in sauerkraut and kombucha tea to my afternoon regimen but I got some pretty adverse flare ups. Should I just stick to my antifungal plan and see if it all balances out in the end or i MUST be taking probiotics along with my antifungals (of course at different times of the day) in order to completely cure candida?
Antifungals won’t cure your infection. I would be very careful with lemon grass because its in the grass family which is a common allergen (I’m allergic to it personally). Kombucha and sauerkraut likely won’t cure your infection by itself either. My recommendation is try out human derived probiotics, and there is only one product on the market in the US and canada (don’t know canadian name) its called HMF neuro. I recommend starting out with low doseages of probiotics starting out.
The yeast can adapt to some antifungals too so I would rotate them in time. Teas might not be potent enough either from my experience.
