My blood sugar was normal in the Summer.
Now after three months of Paleo low carb, low sugar, my blood glucose levels are higher than they’ve ever been.
My doc told me to cut the carb intake. However, this is impossible becuase I’m almost toally off carbs and have been for a while. Even potatoes and brown rice are out.
I read somewhere that Paleo can cause the body to compensate and thus your blood sugar goes high. Anyone else got any insight on this ?
I’ve never heard of that, but the body can certainly do some crazy stuff… Make sure that you’re not eliminating too many carbs – our bodies need them!
