I am tired of eating bread every morning, I was wondering if I could raw buckwheat groats to my yogurt and eat it every day?
If they are allowed, how do i cook them?
Do i soak them overnight or do I simply roast them and then add them to my yogurt?
Hi Diane.. I have spoken to Able about buckwheat and he’s said it’s ok :). Buckwheat groats are actually great mixed in with yoghurt and some mixed seeds. In this case you can actually eat them raw – they’re not as hard as they look like they’ll be..
Otherwise you can just put them in some water and boil them for 10 minutes. I love this version and its good with some spices and chicken instead of rice.
Hope that helped!
