hello 😀 i’m 20 ,female and have been suffering with candida since 14 ,when i first received it through my very first sexual contact
in time, the situation has gotten worse ,i haven t touched ”normal food” in years.as i said, with every passing month the situation with my yeast was getting worse,no antifungal worked any longer and i took plenty of those.all there is.i also want to mention that i was extremely low on immunity and i would get a tonsil infection every 2 months minimum, followed by heavy courses of antibiotics that i would usually screw up and end up getting double time on them because i was heavy on drugs /alcohol and losing sleep.

at 17 i noticed finally that this was a problem because it wouldn t go away and i ve started being more conscious with my diet..but i ve started developing more problems. random allergic rashes for foods that wouldn t manifest otherwise, bone pains, blurred vision, was operated on an ovarie and my guess is it helped the infection spread because since then i’ve been having hardcore problems, i ve got a sinusitis from it,ear pains and wake up every morning with swollen eyes, extremely swollen.
i ve been to doctors and they won t really listen but i don t care for their treatments anymore since i ve tried them all multiple times throughout my life and it pains me intellectually to see them not being able to intergrate all my symptoms in a bigger picture.
so,i did the diet,it stopped working, tried all antifungals, they stopped working, mmy symptoms are progressing, not regressing, i am now on a juice + antifungal fast [juicing is the only thing that stoppedmy symptoms for a while, especially beetroot, ginger, lemon, turmeric, half apple and half carrot, zucchine].
for some reason kefir makes my infection go bad and this diet is not good enough for me 🙁 and apparently my body needs 80-90 percent raw things to be consumed, probably why juicing helped me in ways other stuff wouldn t).
i also started reading about blood cleansing, which seems to have some direct relation with my candida.
also resistant starch from raw bananas seems to help.
what does this mean? the fact that juices keep me symptom free but eating slighlty cooked vegetables doesen’t? does this hint to digestive and colon problems and means i’m only putting my body on break or will it actually save me?

    Hi waronself,

When you mention that you have been going to a doctor, is this a traditional GP? Or have you seen a Naturopath yet? If not, I highly recommend finding one that is experienced with Candida overgrowth. You may have other autoimmune issues that are keeping the diet from working for you.

In regards to the antifungals, the frustrating thing about Candida is that they DO grow resistant to them. The little bastards.

I have read that many people have had luck with using SF-722 without antifungals (they can’t be used together apparently) so this might be worth looking into.

Have you been using any probiotics?

hey,no.i’m from a pretty underdeveloped country and not only they are not experienced enough[the doctors] they cost too much, too, i’m forever on budget,so,yeah.
    what exactly is SF-722?
and for the probiotics, yes i have , plenty strains and pretty expensive ones too.
ah, and the doctors were specialised in each organ i’ve been having troubles with.

    Hi waronself,

Which country are you from, if you don’t mind me asking?

I understand the part about being on a budget – Naturopaths can be expensive.

Here is a link for SF722 from a brand that I have read about in these forums:
    https://www.thorne.com/products/dp/formula-sf722-reg

I think *technically* it is an antifungal that promotes digestion. I also found this:
https://www.thecandidadiet.com/forums/topic/yeast-infection-after-60-days-of-diet-is-it-normal/ -scroll down to see Rasters reply about SF722. I would also recommend searching this forum for SF722 – I have heard only good things.

Your problems likely are greater than candida by itself. You need tailored plan to get better but the yeast is persisting because the environment in your body allows for it to thrive.

What you need to look into:
    -oxygenating the body(yeast hates oxygen)
-improving liver ability(if it detoxes the toxins, then less will be inside the body)
-increasing bodily pH from acidic to neutral
-increase stomach acidity to break down foods, etc.
    -reduce histamine levels
    -exercise
    -good antifungal and probiotic

There are over a dozen ways to fight yeast and you’ve only tried a few of them.

    hope this helps.
