Sorry for the bombardment of questions today…
Why is it that we can drink almond milk on stage one of the diet but we can’t eat almonds?
Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?
Hope you’re all wellOctober 23, 2011 at 8:39 am #66277

I don’t know what this site says, or anyone else, but I’ve always advocated leaving all nuts and nut butters as well as almond milk out of the diet for at least several months down the road, and then it depends on the symptoms, etc. To me, it seems that almond milk should be used only when absolutely necessary for extra calories or nourishment.

Almonds contain molds/fungi. If you do that soaking thing for a few hours, it will remove many of the molds. Like sunflower seeds, it’ll set you back slightly throughout the recovery period, but overall not that much. I would save it for phase 2 personally.
