So I’ve now been advised by my doctor to change my diet to treat acid reflux. Okay, cool.
The problem is, many of the suggested meals are really conflicting with my candida restrictions. Particularly having to keep things low-fat. All these meal plans I see have grains, potatoes and fruit to replace fats… which is not going to work.
I guess I’ll have to amp up the protein then? How much fat could I probably get away with?
They say not to eat egg yolks, fried foods and to minimize oils, but I am thinking of whole fats like chia seed, avocado, tahini and coconut or hemp “beverage”. They still seem to have to be limited though.
I could afford to lose a bit of weight, but looking at these dual restrictions, I don’t want to make myself sick either.
