Would this be effective to take without the use of an enteric coated capsule since they contain phthalates which are toxic to the body? If I put 2 or 3 drops under my tongue, it wouldn’t really reach the candida biofilms, or would it?

Oh, that is cool. Can’t wait to find out if you could just put the oil under the tongue.May 23, 2012 at 7:02 am #82750

The study is in vitro, so it’s hard to say what effect it’d have on you. If you want to break up biofilms, your best bet is a focused protocol. You should find the Biofilms thread helpful. You can see the kind of supplements that are used in anti-biofilm protocols, and you could add eucalyptus or peppermint oil if you wanted.
Even though things like plant oils, lactoferrin, enzymes, EDTA etc are effective, taking them individually might not get the results you want. Remember that doing this can affect the beneficial bacterial colonies in your guts too, so it’s a good idea to prepare as much as possible. It’s not just about removing pathogens, but also giving the good guys the best chance of reforming biofilms afterwards.
