Hello Everybody, I bought the caprylic acid sustained release ( Capryl from Solaray brand), I have a question, I read from Able that the caprylic acid was obtained from coconut, but this one I got says that contains a powerful mixture of calcium, magnesium and zinc caprylates, and the caprylic acid is derived from these minerals. Not coconut mentioned at all.

    Thanks a lot

I don’t know what you’ve got there, but caprylic acid is a saturated fatty acid that’s found naturally in the milk of mammals and coconut oil. I guess it makes sense that, if caprylic acid is in milk, then maybe it’s in the calcium coming from milk, but still, although it won’t hurt to take it, I doubt this is the most beneficial form.
