every single person i know has taken antibiotics, and probably 90% of my female friends take birth control. they also drink and eat candy and cake. guess what? none of them have a candida problem! so why do i because i took antibiotics for 1 week? clearly we cant entirely blame the antibiotics since most people can handle it. sure, girls will get a YI but it goes away 1 diflucan pill! such was clearly not the case for us.
there is clearly an immune system compontent to this. mine is partially weakened bc i take chronic steroids for a medical condition, but even that cant be entirely it because im not alone in that.
i think immune system deficiency is the key here…i always have
Thank you. Like i’ve said, this is all pretty new stuff. Most of the progress has been centered around autism and cfs, but when parents of autistic kids started tying their health problems as well as those of the rest of their family to the same genetic problems, the field started taking off. Its only been in the last year that people outside of the autism world started connecting with the few groundbreaking doctors that are affluent in the knowledge of its implications. People outside of the “candida crowd” are getting rid of their yeast problems every day, with vitamins and amino acids! Its just so new that people dont know what to make of it. When more success stories start popping up here and there, it will get the attention it deserves. Im just tryin to spread the word, theres gotta be ssooo many people out there, somebodys gotta say something. And if I only help one person, then it was still worth it to me.
