I have heard cellulase is good in breaking down bio-films, and they don’t kill good bacteria either according to this experiment, , if you could have a look?
Is cellulase good in breaking down bio-films?
I’ve seen studies that say it is. The best bet is to take an enzyme “cocktail” that will digest all parts of the biofilm. Protease and nattokinase are two effective ones. Some supplements, like VeganZyme combine lots of them.
As Able said in his other thread, cellulose from vegetables, which should be digested by bacteria in the colon, is broken down by cellulase into sugar, so enzymes should be taken on an empty stomach to be effective.
