I am not totally agree with some statements I have read in this thread. I also don’t consider ethical to tell anybody what is going to happen since any of us know it.
CRC isn’t the result of a diet style but an immune deficiency that favors the fungal growth.
It is a loaded immune system what allows candida albicans colonize our mucosal tissues.
We need to think there are millions in this word eating freely without showing any candida symptom.
It is mostly an iatrogenic illness caused by antibiotic intake, heavy metal toxicity, chronic parasites, viruses, stress, lack of rest, etc.
A diet loaded with sugar favors a fungal overgrowth but isn’t the main culprit.
There isn’t any proof that a relapse is going to happen if you chose to leave the anticandida diet. If a relapse is going to happen, it will do with a simple dietary change such as adding fruits, rice, beans, potatoes, etc.
These things also feed candida.
It is my opinion a healthy diet should be the way to go in the future but I can not stand and say you can not it it or that. This isn’t just neither I have any proof that the diet will cause a relapse.
There are people who have cured this infection and are eating what they want. I think this is a personal decision that should be respected.
Honestly, I don’t plan to come back to a junk food diet but as I said, if a relapse is going to happen, it will do even if you add potatoes and rice.
There isn’t difference for candida between a pizza or a plate of roasted potatoes.
When the infection hasn’t been eradicated and the immune system is still weak, candida will relapse even with any minor dietary change. It is common sense.
What I mean is we need to stop confirming what we don’t know and what we can not proof.
I advocate a healthy diet forever and favor this decision but can not confirm you will be closest to a candidiasis with a pizza bite.
