Can you ever be cured? Or just symptom free? I would love to be symptom free, but is there a cure?
That depends on what you think “cured” means. If you cured a cold this winter, but you get another one next year, does that mean you never cured the first one?
Not necessarily. You can be cured of a bacterial infection and to get another one. Bacteria are everywhere as well as candida spores.
Candida can growth fungal again if you take long antibiotic rounds or have a compromised immune system.
People must think about correcting any possible thing that affect the immune system.
It is also possible some people have minor immune defects that allow the fungal growth.
Who is going to relapse, will do it with a minor dietary change. It is enough to get some starch, lactose, or fructose to feed the fungus. If the infection isn’t eliminated, it will growth back. When it is eliminated, it won’t growth back even if you eat burgers, french fries, and soda for a month.
