this mean the candida is killed or it is dormant?

It means that the environment of the intestines has changed back to ‘normal’ which means that you now have an environment unfit for yeast Candida to change into their fungal form of Candida albicans and infest the body. A positive environment (for Candida yeast growth) is what turns on the gene that allows a change into a fungal form.

Hi Able,

do you have some info on the understanding of re-colonisation?

What I learned now is that for a successful re-colonisation you will have to get exactly the right type and balance of bacteria you had when you where a child. The colonisation you got from your close family.

I learned that the babies guts are sterile. Then the imune-system allows colonisation of the guts for about 6 weeks. Everything coming later into the system are dont get a “pass-port” and are seen as a enemy to the system.

If that is true you might even eat “good” bacteria but they are treated as enemies by your immune-system, because they never had a place in your system and didnt hold a pass-port. In that way it is impossible to re-colonise something which never had been part of your system, never mind if they are “good” bacteria.

The real problem is getting the old family bacteria back. In that way I believe that Djorge with all the fecaltransplants is doing the right thing. Best would be to get it from his mother, father, brother or sisters.

I dont know if its possible to run a lap-test to see which gut bacteria “are” attached to the intestines and fill up them. I understand that it is very difficult to re-establish a balance of bacteria ones lost.

I would very much see that we get deeper into the discussion on pro-biotics and bacteria. Maybe we could start a Thread about it and keep it going with upcoming infos etc.

cheers
