tbh, i don’t know for sure, but in my case I don’t thinks its related to carbs. I am used to a fairly low carb diet. I used to rely on a small amount of berries, the carbs in nuts & seeds & whatever veg I eat for energy. I still used to train 4-5 days per week, now I don’t have the energy for anything other than work & looking after my daughter.
I assume the die off creates a lot of inflammation in the body, so any exercises in that stage should be avoided otherwise it will just make it worse.
I would use as much raw olive oil as possible until you get some coconut oil. 2 spoonfuls of olive oil is said to be as effective at reducing inflammation as iboprofin.
