I had a Candida infestation, and as I stated before in this thread, I had my thyroid level checked and it was quite imbalanced, so much so in fact that I had to go on thyroid medication for several months. Today my levels are perfectly normal and I am no longer on Levothyroxine Sodium (Synthroid, Levoxyl, Levothroid), a medication for adult hypothyroidism. I’ve never even considered that my mercury fillings or mercury in general may be a part of my problem. I can’t really explain this, but so many times I went by what I felt throughout my treatment; and right or wrong, something certainly worked.
All I’m saying is that I think we should say that a thyroid problem along with a Candida overgrowth may be caused by mercury toxicity, but certainly not ALWAYS.
