I actually feel best when I eat only or mostly veggies. Every morning I make myself a green smoothie. I love it, it’s good for me, and I can take it to work and sip on it all morning long. I usually rotate my greens that go in the drink, so I put greens, cucumber, celery, garlic, ginger, aloe juice, water. Sometimes a jalapeno or some herbs. Depends on my mood that morning. Blend until smooth and serve over ice. Yummo! My wife is actually coming around to having some. Slowly but surely, she is eating more like me. 🙂
I also love a nice veggie soup.
I gave up meat 9 years ago and my digestion improved almost immediately. I used to think that it was normal to move my bowels twice a week. That changed within about 2 weeks.
I just recently started eating some fish for some protein. I digest it ok. I only have it once a week or so. I would actually rather follow a vegan diet.
