I don’t have any upper digestive upset (no heartburn or burping, no nausea, no other symptoms other than swelling). I am gassy after some foods but not all. I keep a food journal and document the level of swelling. I didn’t see a pattern, but that’s when my ND suggested the fat assimilation problem. I wondered if I should avoid FODMAPS. I had the IgG testing but I read if it’s leaky gut, the results could change weekly. So I’m not sure if I need to really avoid those foods at all. I don’t notice a huge reaction to them. But, it’s hard to tell because the swelling isn’t immediate, it’s a few hours after my last meal.
