I did the (strict) candida diet for 1 year and it got me quite far. But it never went away. Because I felt I needed fruits and my candida would never go away, I included them again. This had no influence on the candida at all. I only ate low fructose fruits (mostly apricots and oranges) like once a day. I still had massive brain fog. Then I figured out it was because of mercury toxicity and I ate a lot of sulfur foods (eggs, brocolli, cauliflower).
I switched my diet again and the brain fog is disappearing. Now I’m chelating to get rid of the mercury with some slightly good results. Because I’m cheating too much on the diet, the candida is back but under control.
In a few weeks, I’m gonna post a big update on my progress.
