I have a love/hate relationship with garlic.
It seems to be the only thing that actually does measurable damage to the candida in my experience, but I am told the sulfur content is not healthy to consume so regularly.
While this may or may not be true, I dont see evidence of that.
Yes, I have heard that eating too much garlic will kill off the good bacteria as well, so eating too much of it is not good.
