You might consider going easier on training while combating candid, which would help. My hunch is fat is easier for the body to covert to glucose, thus it raids fat storage prior to muscle storage. When the fat is used up, it’s going to look for something else to support the calories needed for your workouts. But, I’m NO expert…take what you like and leave the rest.
