You also cannot handle probiotics (you mentioned yogurt and kefir). Can you handle the probiotic capsules like megaflora or renew life (whatever brand you are taking?)
You’ve managed to handle antifungals some but then cheat and feel awful after taking antifungals after cheating. This is likely because the candida grew because you fed it, and then you killed it.
What kinds of foods do you cheat with and how much do you eat?
Well there are two ways to approach how to get better. One is the slow way where you take things one step at a time (such as low doseage probiotics, low doseage antifungals). You could do something like take your probiotic capsules, split them up between 2-3 other capsules (could be tricky) and this would lower your dose. You could also get a lower count from the same brand (for instance renew life creates lower doseage 15 billion count probiotics). Instead of 15 drops of oregano oil, you could do 3 drops per day. You likely will feel slightly bad every single day and it won’t end very quickly; this is the way I approached my treatment the first 3 months until I came to the forum. It just didn’t work very well for me and I felt pretty awful.
The second way is what positivo and I did and this is to go head on against the candida as hard as possible. The die-off will be pretty bad for weeks, but when it ends you start to feel really good. All sorts of symptoms will occur during this time that are hard to deal with, but eventually the die-off should lessen. If you do the steam room, sauna, etc…this may significantly help with the symptoms.
After this happens, you can really start to heal…but I am afraid what you are doing isn’t an effective way to fight off candida. You need to be strongly willed with the diet and understand the cause and effect relationship with what you eat and how candida thrives.
The symptoms you mentioned after eating don’t sound that bad when compared to the ones I’ve had or other people have had, so all I gotta say is tough it out as much as possible and it should get better. Eventually the brain fog, confusion, wobbly feelings, etc will improve as long as you have the willpower. For me, the food symptoms only lasted a short period of time and not all day long.
We’re all different, so you need to come up with a plan on how you are going to attack this. The slow way could work, but I decided not to do it because I wanted to heal faster; eating foods like rice, etc (main website’s food list) make it longer but could lessen the die-off.
I hope this helps…I am sure able will chime in how to gain strength to fight this off.
What do you mean by “go head on against the candida as hard as possible”?
Are all of your symptoms gone now?
