I’ve had insomnia and off throughout my adult life and on the detox I was so anxious that I just couldnt relax until I was so exhausted that i’d almost pass out and sleep. Raster suggested I try Lemon Balm tablets which I got from Holland and Barrett. The instructions are to take 2, 3 times a day and I’d say they kicked in within 24 hours. They are amazing. I could sleep at any time of the day or night and literally I would be asleep within 2 minutes of my head hitting the pillow.. nothing would disturb me and I would never be drowsy the next day. But after a while I realised that I didnt need it to be so extreme so gradually I reduced it to 1, 3 times a day and its better (not that it was “bad” though). I’ll probably stop them soon to see how I sleep on my own. But given my history of insomnia i like the certainty that they bring, that you know you WILL sleep.
