List of symptoms mentioned in my 120-day update: “All of my major symptoms — fatigue, brain fog, apathy, mood swings, irritability, “stagnant blood” feeling, sluggish digestion, overly soft bowel movements, insatiable cravings/hunger, tinea versicolor, occasional acne, gnarly PMS/menstrual pain, uncharacteristically low libido, itchy eyes, inability to lose weight, headaches — have improved significantly, and some have disappeared altogether.”
My die-off symptoms were mostly light-headedness, constipation, itchy eyes, headaches, muscle aches, fatigue, and brain fog, though I also had several days of feeling flu-like fairly close to the beginning of my treatment, as well as some initial mood swings.
I really think you should start a new topic in the General Discussion area to ask your antibiotic question. That section is more heavily trafficked by more users, and it’s far less likely that someone would read all the way through a month-old thread like this one.
I’m not sure what to tell you about how to eat. It’s uncommon for me to feel hungry since I started the diet, which is seemingly the opposite of nearly everyone’s experience. Most of the time I only eat one or two meals (usually two because I make myself eat). On days that I do feel hungry (usually only if I’m PMSy), I try to increase the amount of fat I’m eating. Protein’s fine, but fat seems to have a more direct impact on satiety for me. To that end, I’m a big fan of avocados. Nearly any other member of the forum would be more helpful on this front, since my experience is so unusual.
