Congrats on your candida-versary. I am very new and hoping you can lend some advice. You sound like an expert. I’ve had a myriad of illnesses (chronic sinus, low energy, bacterial staph infections, one thing after another that all hit this year after a lot of stress. I had to antibiotics three times in 2012-2013. I had a childhood of being ill and numerous antibiotics and then years with refusing to take them. Fast forward to a few months ago and I finally got tested for candida. After hormone specialist, neurologist (brain fog, weird moods, memory), endocrinologist, gynecologist, radiologist. You get the idea. None of them ever thought of candida because I’m very healthy and eat well (what a joke!). Well I was on the Lisa Richards diet for 4 weeks. Hadn’t felt good yet since I think I was experiencing die-off. This week had emergency oral surgery for infected tooth and bone. Now on antibiotics and painkillers. Just took pain stuff for 16 hours and now am just doing advil. I’ve stayed on the diet. HERE IS MY QUESTION: I’m taking a probiotic but when is best to start HMF Replete or MegaFlora? I want to begin the best one when my antibiotics are complete (Monday). Is this correct and is there a chance I didn’t un-do the entire 4 weeks? Also what do you take for die-off? I did horribly on Nystanin. I have (but havene’t taken): candidate and molybelum.
Thanks for much I greatly appreciate reading this today. I hope I can be you in 6 months helping someone else!
May I ask what your symptoms were and are all of them cleared (except thrush?). Is thrush from die-off?
