I suffer with Tinnitus too and as doddy46 has said you just have to roll with it I’m afraid.
I tend to find that it is at it’s worst when my other symptoms are bad and then it does calm down a little after a while once things settle down. When it settles, you’ll learn to live with it and then you’ll hardly even notice it’s there. I had forgotten about mine until i just read your post and now I have tuned into it and it’s all I can hear although it’s not too loud today.
Sometimes, but not that often, when I’m in bed or anywhere quiet I can hear it change tone/pitch so it definalty does fluctuate but under what circumstance I have no idea. The good news is that it doesn’t effect hearing so it’s best just to try an forget about it (which is easier said then done initially I know) rather than let it become another thing to worry about.
