Hello.

I’m afraid that your previous posts coupled with this last one is too confusing to offer any substantial information. For example, in the previous post you wrote:
“The doctor told my son it was a yeast infection in the blood.” What you’re talking about is a Candida infestation in his blood.
But in this last post you wrote, “I am certain the doctor hasn’t thought of candida. He tells me…bacterial infection.”
Do you see how confusing that is?

Has your son been running a fever?

If he has a bacterial infection the antibiotics make sense, however, if he doesn’t there is no logical reason for the doctor to prescribe the antibiotic, so I’m assuming that, regardless of what you wrote about yeast in the previous post, the doctor is certain he has a bacterial infection.

That being said, he can still have Candida, especially since he’s been on the antibiotics off and on for so long.
