I work in a dusty shop where we make refractory goods with materials like silica which I know isn’t the best for my health, but quitting the job isn’t really an option. I use the best ppe as I can, N95 mask, gloves and safety glasses but I’m certain some toxins are absorbed through my skin. I’m curious as to whether or not this detox will have me going to the washroom more frequently and if to do it successfully I should avoid possible toxins and take a week off work? I know it’s very specific question but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
If you can take a week off of work that would be perfect. In fact, I don’t recommend doing more than a two-day cleanse if you can’t take time any time at all away from work. Doing the cleanse over a weekend is better than trying to do a detox and work at the same time. Some people are dreadfully sick when the toxins begin to leave the body, and this is not a time to be stuck on a demanding job. As far as trips to the washroom are concerned, you’re right, that’s such a specific question that it’s impossible to answer on an individual basis. You could be going every half hour or more, or you can be extremely constipated, but it’s strongly advised against allowing this to happen as the body is drastically trying to rid itself of the toxins.
